No great performance obviously---anemic and colorless----I put it on YouTube just to show that at one time I knew my way around a piano keyboard. At 19 I severely injured my RH forefinger and did permanent nerve damage which can be readily seen as my injured finger spasms upward when I put stress on it to play the passages. This forced me away from the piano for 25 years as I pursued other interests before returning temporarily to make these videos. • I made one last video after this, the Revolutionary Etude, because it • requires minimal work for the RH--then stopped making piano videos altogether because my finger just couldn't handle the rigorous practice. It kept twinging constantly away from the piano. A few years later I turned to composing piano concertos. I think I did a far better job with my neo-Romantic Piano Concerto No 2 in C Minor Opus 2 .
