The course, taught by Lynn McKay, is part of the District's Career and Technical Education (CTE) program and open to students from any Bellevue high school, as well as students in the Washington Network for Innovative Career (WaNIC) consortium districts (Mercer Island, Lake Washington, Issaquah, Riverview, Northshore and Snoqualmie). Enrollment in the course continues to increase and graduates have gone on to work in careers such as landscape architecture, urban forestry and horticulture.
