Conspiracy theorists claim they have audio and visual evidence that proves there was a second shooter in the Las Vegas attacks. There may be a couple explanations for this that are still consistent with a single shooter: • First, he was using multiple guns and firing from two different windows. Where the shooter was, what gun he was firing at the time, and where the recording was being made all figure into creating the audio we have. • Second, as several people - including some combat veterans - have let me know, the very loud bursts may not be the actual reports of the gun itself, but rather come from super-sonic bullets (meaning bullets that are traveling over 1100 fps) passing closely enough to the recording device that what you hear are actually mini-sonic booms. It is called a bullet-bow shockwave .
