It's just a part of the job and the process usually looks like this: • 1. search the web for free design mockups to use • 2. make sure they are in the right format • 3. download and open in photoshop • 4. figure out how the file is set up • 5. work with a smart object to place your design • 6. crop, trim and export for use • 7. find out it's the wrong mockup • 8. start again • 9. do it 10 more times • 10. pass out! • So this process sucks a little bit, granted it can be free but it still sucks. I started realizing the amount of time and energy i was throwing at presentational design mockups and went looking for a solution.
