Black Grape Jam • Ingredients • Black Grapes - 1 kg • Unseeded Black Grapes - 1 cup • Water • Sugar - 1 cup • Lemon - 1/2 no • Method: • 1.Take 1 kg of seeded Black Grapes and cut 1 cup of seeded Grapes into half and remove the seeds to retain the lovely chunkiness for the Jam. • 2.Juice 1 kg of seeded Black Grapes in a blender and strain it to remove the pulp and seeds left in the juice and keep it aside. • 3.Next step is to cook the Grapes, add 1 cup of cut Grapes into a pan and cook it with little water. • 4.Once, Grapes are cooked, add the Grape juice into it. • 5.Once it comes to a boil, add 1 cup of Sugar. • 6.Now, strain this to remove the scum and separate the Grape juice and cut pieces from the scum and keep it aside. • 7.Pour the Grape juice and cut pieces back into the sauce pan. • 8.Now, add the juice of 1/2 Lemon, and let it cook for few minutes and it will gradually thicken. • 9.Make sure, you do not overcook or over boil the juice, because it can lead to a string consistency and you do not want to get that. • 10.Turn off the stove once you get a syrup thick consistency and let it cool, it will gradually thicken and you will get a Jam consistency. • Black Grape Jam is ready.
