💥Manchester college moston campus 💥 • •Construction started early 1963 and after a few teething problems the building was finally finish and ready for use by October 22nd 1965 and was the first building of its kind to be built with the iconic curve. • •Bein used for further education offering a range of courses throughout its life it holds some special memories, from the moston locals to everyone in the surrounding areas of Manchester. • •Finally closing its doors on the 31st July 2017 due to mounting cost /up keep of such an old but iconic building. • •What does the future hold for this site now ? ....... • •Unfortunately it's been bought by a private company and is going to be demolished to make was for housing within the year 😔 • •Massive thank you to the facility manager Dan who kindly gave us full access to document the site before it's lost forever along with the memories it holds. • •This was a permission visit which kind of makes a change 😁 The building is fully secure with cameras and alarms plus onsite security.
