To start, it’s been completely redesigned with a new engine, a new transmission, and a groundbreaking infotainment system. • • Replacing the 3.5-liter V6 is Acura’s new turbocharged 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder engine. With 272 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque, the new RDX sacrifices little power while improving fuel economy with the addition of a class-exclusive 10-speed automatic transmission. In its most efficient configuration, the RDX should return 22 mpg city, 28 highway, and 24 combined. • • Not only does the new Acura RDX feature a spectacular ELS premium audio system and Apple CarPlay compatibility (but no Android Auto), it also showcases the brand’s new True Touch Pad. The new technology corresponds directly with the 10.2-inch HD display—touch the top left corner of the touch pad and it selects whatever icon is present in the top left corner of the display.
