Montessori Floor Bed amp Our Experience

A few things I didn't mention in the video: • If he rolls off or falls off the mattress, your child won't get hurt. You can add a rug by the end of the bed for extra comfort. However, your child can get injured if he tried to jump/get out of a crib on his own (another pro of having a floor bed). • There were a few times he rolled off the mattress while asleep. It never hurt him or woke him up. If we saw him on camera, we would put him back on the mattress. • Floor beds make it easier for your child to transition to adult-size beds. • When we travel, we make our son a comfy bed on the floor “fenced” by pillows.
