How to Build a DME ARC Manually B737 PMDG

This video goes in detail over building a DME ARC in the FMC of the B737. • The approach used for an example is ILS RW27 into VIJP. As requested by Aabhas Dave. • A video discussing radials and bearings can be found here: • • Navigation Using a VOR • This video does not accurately discuss how the approach should be flown but rather how a DME arc can be entered in the FMC. • The approach chart can be found here: http://www.ivao.in/pilots/charts/ • The chart used in the video is a bit different (the arc in the chart is at 10 DME compared to the one in the video at 12) • Important points: • 1- A ring around the fix you are planning to do the arc around will help with situational awareness. • 2- If you make a mistake while entering the points do not erase, just correct the mistake only.
