This video is a step by step tutorial for making a boxed cushion cover. The covers can be easily removed for washing. I will show you how to measure to make a snug fitting cover with only one piece of fabric. • This isn’t a “no-sew” or a Velcro project. This is the real deal with a zipper! • Don’t be intimidated! Even if you’ve never sewn a zipper before you can do it! It’s really not that difficult. Follow every step and you’ll soon have an updated cushion. I made 6 for our vintage truck camper and we love them! • Here’s the math in case you didn’t catch it in the video. • Length plus depth plus 1 inch for seam allowance. • Width plus width plus depth plus depth plus 1 inch for seam allowance. • That will give you your final size to cut. Hope that makes sense! • Be careful if you have a directional fabric. Always prewash your fabric. Measure twice cut once.
