This quality seat moves my position noticeably aft, does NOT force me to constantly slide into the gas tank and allows for more sitting positions ( than the stock H.D. seat ) during a long ride, which equates to vastly increased comfort, increased enjoyment and less overall fatigue. The gel inserts cushion your butt and spine from enough road shock, to the extent that even the most intolerably bumpy stretch of highway that i often use, is now a fairly decent ride and i don't look for ways to circumvent it. • The backrest is not only a back saver , but it increases riding comfort and overall enjoyment. My line of sight is a bit higher now, because I no longer slouch. • Riding without the windscreen is vastly more enjoyable with the backrest, which is very sturdy. • This is a high quality, comfortable seat which is firmer ( and beefier ) than a stock HD seat which is a good thing!
