A short video highlighting Lake Talbingo, one of the Snowy Mountains alpine lakes that was completed in 1971. Talbingo contains a number of species, including Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout, Golden Perch, Macquarie Perch, Redfin, and Trout Cod. Trout species are the most prevalent fish at the wall end of the lake, with the top end being home to some magnificent redfin perch as well. There are excellent facilities provided for boat launching. Lake Talbingo impounds the waters of the Tumut River, and is the highest of a series of three dams in the Tumut valley, along with Jounama Pondage and Lake Blowering, famous for it's Murray Cod, yellowbelly and redfin fishing. • Music: https://www.bensound.com/royalty-free...
