Gordon Lightfoot's 'Summer Side of Life' is his anti-war protest song. A great song and lyrical message, set to beautiful music. Another personal favorite from him, along with 'Beautiful'. One of Canada's best, an incredible singer-songwriter, and still an active entertainer :)) Sometimes I see comments on videos asking if Gordon is retired, but he is still touring. The music icon is currently marking five decades of touring and counting. Pretty amazing really.. • 'Summer Side of Life' reached #21 on Canadian charts, #4 on the Adult Contemporary chart.
