This detailed how to is focused on redoing our entire layout for our mini datacenter and bringing us 600Gbits of connected switching with our aggregate network consisting of 1Gbit networking, 10Gbit fiber networking and 40Gbit ethernet networking based off our Mellanox, Dell, and Brocade switches. We are using DAC cables for our 40Gbit connections, OM-2 fiber for our 10Gbit sfp+ connections and CAT6 patch panel. I cover everything needed for this setup. We start off with planning our home network. I rearrange the network switches to better accommodate the access to the 40Gbit switch and the fat QSFP cables. I install Network Cable Management trays that span from the rack to the structured media panel also. I take you step by step on server rack cable management as well with cable management arms, rack cable management ties and networking cable management trays.
