As Christof points out the Salomon is a close cousin to the Scarpa F1 in weight and performance. The boot has 70° of rotation and a great progressive flex. Christof has skied this boot on skis ranging from 89mm-112mm. I'd also like to point out the lengths that Christof goes to make sure his boot reviews are high value reviews. He went out with this boot on one foot and a Scarpa F1 on the other. Then went out again with the Salomon on one foot and the Scrapa XT on the other.
