Prepare to be amazed as we take you on a journey to one of the world's most spectacular natural wonders - the Marum Crater on the Vanuatuan island of Ambrym. • This epic drone footage was filmed as part of a project with Google Streetview New Zealand, and gives you a bird's eye view of the largest boiling lava lake in the world. • To capture the stunning imagery, Google and Silver Eye Films teamed up with explorers Geoff Mackley and Chris Horsley, who rappelled 400 meters into the Marum crater with a Street View Trekker collecting 360-degree imagery of the journey down to the lava lake. The footage showcases the sheer magnitude and power of the active volcano, which is roughly the size of two football fields. • The Ambrym volcano is one of the most active in the world, and due to the sheer force of the heat and clouds of ash, it was advised not to fly any craft - drone or helicopter - over the lip of the crater. This makes the drone footage even more incredible, as it captures sights that few have ever seen before. • If you want to experience the full 360-degree immersive journey, check out the final StreetView imagery on Google Earth at the link in the video description. Get ready to be transported to the heart of an active volcano, and witness the raw power and beauty of nature in all its glory. • Film production company: Silver Eye Films • Website: https://www.SilverEyeFilms.co.nz • Filmed with: • DJI Inspire 1 Quadcopter • 4K HD, 30fps • X3 Camera • Single control. • Do you have questions?
