After a planned Goldberg match never happened, Chris decided to leave WCW and join the WWF in 1999. • To bring Chris Jericho into the company, a Millennium countdown clock was shown on WWF television for weeks, counting down the time until Chris was ready to show up on Raw. The clock reached zero when The Rock was in the ring, Chris Jericho introduced himself as Y2J, and the rest is history.
