Paradox Interactive has teased a large new mission tree, filled with split paths and ways to expand, letting players shape the Republic and its trade empire in whatever way they desire. • In the DLC, Venice will find new ways to form Italy and expand its empire beyond the Mediterranean, with heavy emphasis on either allying or subjugating the Mamluks in Egypt.
