Mouth watering results every time. London Broil prepared this way is quick and easy, and oh so good! • Marinade a nice thick Top Round Steak with a whole sliced onion and some crushed garlic (we like a lot). Only 3 wet ingredients, equal parts vegetable oil, soy sauce (low sodium), and sweet vermouth. Top it all off with a good sprinkle of black pepper (course fresh ground is best). If you do more than one steak, just add more liquid to each part. 1 Cup seems to work well for 1 steak in a gallon ziplock. • Let it soak for at least 6 hours, overnight would be better. • We did 6 minutes a side on a 450 degree grill. Our inch and a quarter thick steak was done to a perfect medium rare finish (warm red center). • The video didn't show the red center too well, it was very bright out. But take a look at those hero photos at the end of the video. • Don't throw away those onions, they're amazing as a topper to the steak. Caramelize them in a cast iron pan on the hot grill while resting the streak. Mix in some mushrooms as an added bonus. • The Weber Gourmet BBQ System Sear Grate makes perfect sear marks on your steak sure to impress your friends. https://www.weber.com/US/en/accessori... If you have a standard grate, just give the steak a twist at the 3 and 9 minute marks. • Thanks to Tom Spotts for his this simple recipe. I am sure he is smiling down on us every time we make it.
