Spa Francorchamps, 1966. One of the most infamous races in Formula 1 history. Immortalized in the film Grand Prix , the 1966 Belgian Grand Prix saw a flash rain storm on the opening lap which sent 4 cars flying from the circuit, it is best known for the terrible incident involving Jackie Stewart which ignited his crusade for Grand Prix safety. On a Sunny day Spa Francorchamps was a daring circuit, in the wet it was practically insane. • And so Round 2 brings us to this iconic race.
