In this scene from Woody Allen's RADIO DAYS (1987), young Joe (Seth Green), whose mother has just given birth to her second child, is taken for the day by his Aunt Bea (Dianne Wiest) and her married boyfriend into Manhattan. They make a stop at the Automat (we see only a brief bit of it, alas).
