The WFMC Symphony of Gifts is an evening of worship in acknowledging God as the maker and giver of art and beauty to His creatures and creation. Using vocal and musical arts, as here in this recital portion, and also the visual arts (drawing and painting, crafts, photography, culinary creativity, etc. that followed this recital, but was unable to be captured on video) we join these members of the WFMC congregation honoring God for creating good and lovely things and using His people to create good and lovely things in our world. • I have filled them with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills - to make artistic designs in gold, silver and bronze, to cut and set stones, to work in wood, and to engage in all kinds of crafts. ~ Exodus 31:3-5 • Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. ~ Philippians 4:8 • For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. ~ Ephesians 2:10
