#submandibular #anatomy #carotid • Link for Donations https://paypal.me/studentlamedicina?l... •   / anatomy.knowledge   • The submandibular triangle is a subdivision of the anterior triangle of the neck, being located above the hyoid bone. • Its is bordered superiorly by the inferior border of the mandible and a line from the angle of the mandible to the mastoid process; posteriorly by the posterior belly of the diagastric; and anterior by the anterior belly of the digastric. In close relation with the posterior belly of the diagstricus is the stylohyoid muscle. • The floor of the triangle is formed mostly by the mylohyoid muscle and hyoglossus muscle which pass deep to the mylohyoid.
