English translation: • Revolutionary Batukeshwar Dutt was born on 18 November 1910 in Bardhaman, Bengal. He did his studies in Kanpur, where he met Chandrashekhar Azad and Bhagat Singh. He was a member of the 'Hindustan Socialist Republican Army' and is known for throwing a bomb in the Delhi Assembly along with Bhagat Singh. • After this incident, he was arrested and sentenced to Kalapani, Batukeshwar Dutt was going through these tortures for the independence of India. When this country got that independence, Batukeshwar Dutt got nothing. After this Batukeshwar Dutt started living a life of anonymity and poverty. When he applied to avail the benefits of a government scheme, for this also he was asked for a certificate to prove that he is a freedom fighter. Dutt's last wish was that his last rites should be performed near Bhagat Singh's Samadhi.
