Bamboo in Container Spring Pruning To Rejuvenate

This bamboo plant is from a friend, who was trying to eradicate the spreading grass from her yard. She still has a nice patch at her place. • Mine has been turning yellow over time despite being moved to a sunnier location. A main reason likely is - there is nowhere for runners to spread out. The container is a gift from another friend.
