Tomar Vubane Phooler Mela is a cult song of Bengali Music ,released on January 1965 ,sang and composed by Late Akhilbondhu Ghosh and written by Late Pulak Bandopadhayay • Akhilbandhu Ghosh (Bengali: āĻ āĻāĻŋāĻ˛āĻŦāĻ¨ā§āĻ§ā§ āĻā§āĻˇ) (20 October, 1920 - 20 March, 1988) was a Bengali male singer from Kolkata, West Bengal, India. He is considered as one of the greatest exponents of Bengali classical based vocal music.Akhilbandhu published his first album in 1947 containing two songs in 78 RPM record; Ekti kusum jaabe and Amar kanone phutechhilo phul, though some of his unpublished songs were recorded much earlier.He was unparalleled in modern classical based Bengali songs and recorded many songs which became very popular. The sheer spontaneity of his compositions made him a much sought after lyricist. Famous Bengali and Bollywood artistes like Akhilbandhu Ghosh,Hemanta Mukherjee, Manna Dey, Geeta Dutt, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhonsle, Haimanti Shukla, Shyamal Mitra, Bhupen Hazarika, Pratima Bandopadhyay, Utpala Sen, Arundhati Holme Chowdhury, Satinath Mukherjee, Madhuri Chattopadhyay, Anup Ghoshal and Arati Mukherjee sang his compositions. In 1966 film Sankhabela, he wrote two evergreen songs- Ke Prothom Kachhe Esechhi (Lata Mageshkar and Manna Dey) and Aaj Mon Cheyechhe (Lata Mangeshkar).
