We spoke to Chris Wilkes, our Lighting Head of Department for CF04 (Steelyard), on how the tent’s jaw dropping visuals are brought together, enhanced by the use of a Moveket automation system. • • The Moveket system gives a more dynamic look as trusses can be moved throughout performances safely above the audience’s heads, seamlessly changing the design of the space. Truss toners were also added to highlight the structures, creating an architectural feel to the venue. • • With nearly 800 lighting fixtures, the team also used a variety of Robe Spikies, Vari-Lite VL3600’s, GLP JDC1’s and Icon Edges to illuminate the space. • • The team also worked on #Rigging and #Video for the stage, giving a 270 package for one of the festivals most iconic stages. • • #EventCrew #Moveket #LightingTechnicians #Automation #EventTechnicians #PRGSummerOfMusic #Lighting
