Inktober 2024 Part 1 read description

It's Inktober time! This year, I decided I would challenge myself to do both a drawing and a short composition (~20 seconds) for every prompt, which may have been a bit overambitious of me. That combined with school being really tough this last month means that I haven't finished the whole thing yet. I will! Don't worry, there will be a part 2 and a part 3 happening in the next month-ish, but the only way for me to feasibly complete this without burning myself out was to give myself two months and split up the video into three parts. • Additional things: • I decided to make the music portion be one extra-long piece instead of thirty short snippets, so the sections connect to each other. The prompts were themed this year, so I felt like a more interconnected piece would be fitting. • The music and the drawings are unrelated, but the ones on screen at the same time come from the same prompt • I'm not that good at art, and I don't intend for this to be very high-quality, so please do not come after me in the comments. I appreciate all compliments and constructive criticism, and I want to improve and use this challenge as a way to get better, not to show off. • Sorry about the length of time each image is on screen, it just worked out that way. • Part 2 (days 11-21) should come out on 17 November, and part 3 (days 22-31) on 1 December if everything is scheduled right. • Made with Procreate and MuseScore 4 and edited with Premiere Pro and After Effects • If anyone is wondering, the creatures seen in 10: Nomadic are a fictional alien species of mine called the Kanta. You will be hearing a lot about them from me in the future.
