11 - Grease your Dexter Axle with E-Z Lube fittings on your Casita Travel Trailer in a few simple steps. A lot of folks swear by the old and tried method of pulling the wheels, removing the bearings, cleaning, and repacking them by hand. I talked to an engineer at Dexter because I too was unsure about these E-Z Lube fittings. He explained the design of an enclosed hub and bearing assembly that directs the grease from the E-Z Lube fitting to the back of the bearings and then through them and out the front. He told me to watch the Dexter video on this explaining how they work.
