35% OFF Arc'teryx CLEARANCE SALE links: • Atom LT hoody: https://geni.us/r2DJln • Atom LT (non-hood): https://geni.us/kw8j7Z • Beta LT: https://geni.us/5Feb • Alpha AR: https://geni.us/EH6UjcB • A VERY quick showcase/review of the Arc'Teryx Atom LT, Beta LT, Alpha AR, and Atom LT hoody jackets. • ________________ • Personally, if I had to choose only one versatile jacket, I'd pick the Beta LT or Alpha AR, depending on the use case/your surrounding climate. • The Atom LT and Atom LT hoody are excellent, especially if in cooler weather and you have a waterproof hardshell to add to it, seeing as the Atom LT is not waterproof. It is however warmer than the other jackets with the perfect amount of puffy insulation. • The Atom LT and Atom LT hoody have no pit zips, but rather a breathable, stretchy mesh side panel for ventilation. I prefer this over pit zips but it is less waterproof and susceptible to side-winds as a result. • On the Atom LT vs Atom LT hoody, I like the hoody for mountain adventures, but I have a toque/merino buff for head warmth anyways, and the hood for me is not useful for biking/rock climbing due to a helmet. • The Alpha AR is my choice for long expeditions and trips, and if it comes to winter mountaineering I would pair it with an Atom LT underneath for exceptional warmth. The Alpha AR has tons of zippers and adjustment points which is very welcome. • The Beta LT is a great all-around jacket which is cheaper than the Alpha AR and just about as versatile.
