As we have been reporting this morning - ANC president, Cyril Ramaphosa's two-day appearance at the Commission of Inquiry into allegations of State Capture concluded Thursday. • There's been mixed reaction to it, with some saying they remain none the wiser in terms of the role the party played in enabling the State Capture project. • Ramaphosa testified that he regrets that the party delayed investigating allegations of state capture through parliament's committees in 2016, but denies that this was due to deliberate resistance. • He also responded to questions relating to political party funding - including his CR17 campaign, to which he reiterated that the fund managers did not tell him who gave the campaign money as they did not want him to be beholden to donors. To help us unpack the ANC president's 2-day testimony, we are now joined by Journalist and political commentator, Eusebius McKaiser. • For more news, visit sabcnews.com and also #SABCNews #Coronavirus #COVID19News on Social Media.
