Mawlid al-Nabi is celebrated to commemorate the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday. The reason is that the Prophet’s birthday is universal, that is, for all creatures, all beings, whereas the Night of Might is only for Muslims. • This small channel is NOT monetized, so all ads suddenly appearing aren't for me, but for YouTube itself. You can absolutely watch my videos without contributing monetarily—that’s the very point. I believe University-quality education should be available freely to everyone and at everywhere. But if you want to support me and you’re in a position to do so, please support this small channel’s endeavour to increase Islamic literacy, in particular Sufism and Islamic philosophy, through educational content online on YouTube. Your monetary support does make the channel and the creator keep alive.
