Mawlid al-Nabi is celebrated to commemorate the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday. His birthday, according to Muslims, is a more important day than the Night of Might (laylat al-qadr) in which the Quran was revealed for the first time. The reason is that the Prophet’s birthday is universal, that is, for all creatures, all beings, whereas the Night of Might is only for Muslims. • This small channel is NOT monetized, so all ads suddenly appearing aren't for me, but for YouTube itself.
