Volkl gave the M6 a massive overhaul, it’s not a little tweak, it’s not an update, it's brand new from the ground up! The previous Mantra’s struggled to initiate a turn, had a small sweet spot and could only do one turn shape and felt dead. The M6 shreds and you don’t have to be an ex Division 1 racer to actually get them to ski well like a lot of previous Volkl models. The M6 was a stand out in side by side testing against top skis in the same class: Nordica Enforcer 94/100, Blizzard Bonafide, Elan Ripstick and the Declivity series. What was really interesting was skiing the M6 side by side with its predecessor the M5. The M6 is in a different league, a true all mountain ski that will impress skiers at varying skill levels. The grip between the M6 and Bonafide 97 are very similar on harder snow, the Enforcer 100 is definitely in third place in this match up.
