#imrankhanpti #constitution #supremecourt • Peshawar High Court Chief Justice Muhammad Ibrahim Khan has lamented favouritism after he did not find his name in the list of judges being considered for elevation to the Supreme Court, The News reported on Thursday. • The chief justice, in a letter to Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa, noted that he was expecting his candidature to be at least included in the list for consideration owing to his seniority, eligibility and availability of vacancies in the apex court. • The PHC chief justice, in his letter, wrote: I am writing to your Lordship with a heavy heart and a sense of disillusionment in relation to prima facie arbitrariness, discrimination and favouritism in the appointment of judges in the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
