Portimão waterside promenade and Sardine Festival

We went for a walk along the waterside promenade in Portimão and visited the Sardine Festival, the Portimão waterside promenade takes you past the Portimão marina and musium. The Sardine Festival was free to attend and we try to bring you the atmosphier of the town and the festval. • From the 3rd to the 7th of August, the Sardine Festival with grilled sardines comes to the riverside area of Portimão, the first edition dates back to 1985, on this the 26th edition of the Sardine Festival.
