Each hemisphere is further divided into 4 lobes: Frontal, Parietal, Occipital, and Temporal.   •    • ✅ Frontal Lobe   •    • *It’s the higher executive centre of the brain, which include planning, problem solving and reasoning. ⁣⁣It contains the primary motor cortex which is the major region required for voluntary movement.   •   • Think of yourself as making a presentation in ‘front’ of all the class. You will have to do some planning complex thinking, your peers will judge your performance. • ✅ Parietal Lobe   •   • *One function of this lobe is to process sensory input involving taste, temperature touch. ‘P’ for patting someone on top of the head - you are touching the lobe.   •    • ✅ Temporal Lobe   •    • *It is the chief hearing lobe of the brain, contains the primary auditory cortex which receives information related to hearing and processing the information so we can understand. •    • *Famously the temporal lobe contains the hippocampus, which is the brain’s campus of learning, memory and emotion.   •   • Use ‘tempo’ as your aid to memory. Picture yourself enjoying the tempo of your favorite music.   •    • ✅ Occipital Lobe   •    • *Located towards the back, and is the major vision centre of the brain. The primary visual cortex receives the info from the eyes, that eventually interpret distance, location and depth of the objects the person is looking at.   •    • Take the ‘occ’ part of the word to think about the cranial nerve: Occulomotor nerve.   •    • ✨More soon!🩺 • Support REV🧠MED 🫶🏼 We love you for it • Subscribe👉🏼 https://www.youtube.com/revmedicine?s... • _____________________________ • 💜 More content on the way •  Share - Comment - Like! • _____________________________ • ✅ About REV MED 🧠 • We are having fun while learning complex topics.
