The project kick started when stalwarts Gulzar, Shantanu, Shreya Shaan came together and Tagore became their conversation starter and the session ended with a memory – A memory of creating a masterpiece with Tagore’s most famous Bengali poems being translated into Hindi and put together as songs. Gulzar in conversation with Tagore album consists of 7 songs which bring out the romantic side of Tagore, an attempt to contemporize his poetry by giving it a musical flavour that the young India identifies with.
