Mast splice

This video is about joining two mast pieces. The process of a mast repair involves cutting the mating surfaces perpendicular to the mast length, cutting insert pieces, and fastening them to the inside of the mast on both sections to be joined.There are several ways to go about this , I found this way to be the best approach.
