I am back with another amazing recipe for y’all. In this video I will be sharing with you all my way of making this amazing Rellanos De Papa dish! (Translate to stuffed potatoes). It is basically balls of mashed potatoes with sautéed meat mix with your favorite vegetables in the middle that are fried to perfection! :D Yummy Food… • #RellanosDePapa #DeliciousRecipe #DudleyGLifeStyle • ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ • Ingredients • -6 large potatoes • -1 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch, plus extra for dusting • -1 egg, lightly beaten • -2 tablespoons butter • -Black pepper • -Chicken Flavor Bouillon • -Maggi • -Louisiana Hot Sauce • -Ground beef • -Haitian Épis • -2 Cloves garlic • -Parsley • -1 Small onion (optional) • -Belle Peppers 1/2 green 1/2 red • -Salt • -Oil for frying • -Favorite dipping sauce (optional) • INSTRUCTIONS • Peel potatoes and cut into uniformly sized chunks. Place in a pot and cover with water. Salt the water about (2 tablespoons). Boil until cooked through and easily pierced with a fork, about 20 - 30 minutes. • Cook ground beef with your go to seasoning in it, don’t let it dry all the way. • Drain potatoes well and return to pot. Let any excess water evaporate. Mash with 1 tablespoon of cornstarch (add more if needed), 1 egg and butter. • Flour your hands with cornstarch and flatten about 1/2 cup of mashed potatoes into a disk in the palm of your hand. Add your ground beef right in center, seal the edges and roll into a smooth ball. Repeat until all the potato has been used up, making sure to coat hands in cornstarch each time. • Deep fry the balls in hot oil (about 350°F) about 5 minutes on each side, turning as needed until they are golden brown all over.
