Today we are going to go over a quick and simple method to cut back ornamental grasses. Now you can either do this at the beginning of winter, or early spring. I prefer to do it early spring that way it provides some winter interest through the snowing season and also it is actually a good shelter for a lot of bugs and small animals. You can see the grass is already starting to grow this spring, so I'm probably a little too late to do this. But its still not too late. What this does, it helps get rid of all of the dead growth and helps encourage new growth in the spring. So here we go. Its as simple as that.
