This is a video to answer my first comment respectfully. The Donner has issues that may or may not be dealbreakers... watch the video to understand what I mean • To be clear, I LOVE MARTINS. Always wanted one and I currently have 2. • I would buy a third, because sound matters to me. Not to brag, but the sounds i can make with my nails and 20 years of experience are vastly different from the sounds I was making as a beginner. I had an actual stratacoustic... This is simlar sized, identical price to THAT • This sounds 25x better than the OG Fender Stratacoustic. If big brands make crap, Il cal it out, same goes for small newcomers. Listen to the video for more details. • All i know for sure, is playing comfort matters a LOT for beginners and youre always trading sound for playability and Innovation under the $500 mark. • This is like a 10 for innovation, as of right now maybe a 6.5 for playability if donner cant hook me up with a free levelling or replacement.. And i owuld honestly give it an 8.5 for sound. Its not a larrivee parlour, but it sonically leans in that direction and Larrivee P03s are roughly $3000.. Theyre 2k+ USED. This lets be generous and say this sounds 60% as good as a Larrivee parlour... IT COSTS ONE-TENTH what that does,,, • So why would I hate on a newcomer innovating and succeeding finally at making Carbon sound woodier? Thats a win win for the consumer, and it forces the big boys to innovate and provide more value under $500. • I like this guitar, cant put it down and the fact its essentailly indestructible topped.....chefs kiss. • Well done @Donnermusic_Official
