Easy NO YEAST Cinnamon Rolls Ep 03

Welcome back to the channel everyone! For this video, I will be making my most favorite dessert ever, cinnamon rolls! No voice over for this one while I try to figure out how to be better. • This recipe is great because it doesn't use yeast, which is a HOT commodity nowadays, well not a problem! Let's get to it! • Ingredients Needed: • Dough: • 4 cups AP Flour • 6 Tbsp White Sugar • 2 Tbsp Baking Powder • 2 Tsp Kosher Salt • 10 Tbsp COLD Butter • 1.5 Cups Soy Milk • Filling: • 6 Tbsp Softened Butter • 1 Cup Brown Sugar • 1/2 Cup White Sugar • Shake of Nutmeg • Frosting: • 6 oz Cream Cheese • 6 Tbsp Melted Butter • 2 Tsp Vanilla Extract • 3 Cups Powdered Sugar • 3 Tbsp (+ more to adjust viscosity) Soymilk • The reason why I used the whisk attachment in the first place is to cut the cold butter into the dry mix. After the butter has been dispersed, switch over to the dough or the paddle attachment before adding in the liquids. In my case, I used soy milk. The process takes about 5-7 minutes of mixing on slow. • Mix until just combined and then transfer onto a well-floured work surface and knead until combined, 2 minutes. • Let rest while you prepare the filling. • I didn't combine the butter and my sugar/spice mixture but you can do that instead. I might do that from now on. • Roll, slice, and bake at 400 F. • The rolls will act more so as a cake, so you want to test the doneness by inserting a toothpick into the final product. If it comes out clean, the rolls are done.
