After weeks of researching and comparing 3D printers from MakerBot, Raised3D, Prusa, Utilimaker and Creality, I ended up choosing the light industrial grade Raised3D Pro 2 as my very first 3D printer for my RC airplane build projects and kits. • • Unboxing it and getting it set up, not including the recording time, took about 20 minutes and it worked flawlessly right out of the box. In this video, I open up this big box and go all the way through to printing my very first part. • • I purchased the printer after realizing using print farms and other vendors for long term projects and kit building would be too cost prohibitive. Purchasing the equipment was the only sensible option. Having this amazing printer in my shop will really help make building and designing model airplanes and other parts a breeze. • Here are some specs: • Build Volume: 12×12×11.8 inch | 305×305×300 mm • Interchangeable nozzles = 0.2 mm nozzle for finer X/Y detail • 0.78125 micron positioning resolution on X/Y axis • 0.01 mm layer thickness • Prints a Variety of Filaments Up to 300℃ • 7 Inch Touch Screen • Power loss resuming • Access, Monitor, and Control remotely • HEPA Air Filtration • This is not a paid promotion, no products were given for this unboxing.
