End Grain Mushroom Box

This week's video is an end grain mushroom box in spalted Sugar Hackberry. You can see more of my videos here: / @themessystudio . A friend sent me the blank. • I won this small log in the club raffle and the rules are that we have to turn it and bring it to the next meeting. Well, that will be a little difficult since it sold as soon as it was finished. I dyed the body of the mushroom two shades of green. I dyed the cap yellow first, then applied masking tape rounds and sprayed it again in tangerine. • I finished it with a clear gloss top coat and buffed it out to a very nice shine. It measures 5 at the widest and 4 tall. It is finished Ack's Polish/Restoring Paste. • Thank you for watching. I'll have another turning out soon.
