The opening performance at the Country Music Association Awards on Wednesday night brought the audience to their feet as a medley of songs was performed by some of the biggest names in the history of country music, including legendary musician Randy Travis. In 2013, the 57-year-old crooner suffered a stroke and had years of physical therapy to recover.
