I often notice IV-I sequences (minor) in Chaminades compositions for piano (technically it's not a IV-I because it is f minor, I know.. but I just mean this relation of minor chords, given SOME tonic). This piece immediately starts with such a sequence, in the context of a falling bassline. • This piece was composed 1927, at the age of 70, and seems to be her last composition for piano solo. • This is quite interesting I think, since she lived 16 years after that until she died. Wikipedia says she got ill at the end of her live, and maybe it dates back even as far as the end of 20s when she felt she couldn't write more for it. • I mean the compositions for piano definitely show that she fully understood what is possible (and convenient in her sight) to be played on a piano; her works are almost every time very pianistical. I never run into awkward figurations or so, which I definitely appreciate and actually also think when I compose music - it doesn't have to be necessary to write stupid figurations for the player. Recording this was... something! I really tend towards unedited performances, but it's so difficult to get that 'one' recording. Although I know basically every passage (well... one day of learning :D) and what to do with the fingers, sometimes a finger just slips or I forget suddenly the right note to play and .. start again. But the overall feel is so much better this way. So I apologize for the mistakes and hope you can enjoy this beautiful music.","styleRuns":[{"startIndex":0,"length":1485,"styleRunExtensions":{"styleRunColorMapExtension":{"colorMap":[{"key":"USER_INTERFACE_THEME_DARK","value":4294967295},{"key":"USER_INTERFACE_THEME_LIGHT","value":4279440147}]}},"fontFamilyName":"Roboto"}]},"headerRuns":[{"startIndex":0,"length":1485,"headerMapping":"ATTRIBUTED_STRING_HEADER_MAPPING_UNSPECIFIED"}]}},{"itemSectionRenderer":{"contents":[{"continuationItemRenderer":{"trigger":"CONTINUATION_TRIGGER_ON_ITEM_SHOWN","continuationEndpoint":{"clickTrackingParams":"CLIBELsvGAIiEwiL16Ds_cmLAxV5XHoFHY8lGNo=","commandMetadata":{"webCommandMetadata":{"sendPost":true,"apiUrl":"/youtubei/v1/next"}},"continuationCommand":{"token":"Eg0SC296UGVQb1dPMVRjGAYyJSIRIgtvelBlUG9XTzFUYzAAeAJCEGNvbW1lbnRzLXNlY3Rpb24%3D","request":"CONTINUATION_REQUEST_TYPE_WATCH_NEXT"}}}}],"trackingParams":"CLIBELsvGAIiEwiL16Ds_cmLAxV5XHoFHY8lGNo=","sectionIdentifier":"comment-item-section","targetId":"comments-section"}}],"trackingParams":"CLEBELovIhMIi9eg7P3JiwMVeVx6BR2PJRja"}},"secondaryResults":{"secondaryResults":{"results":[{"lockupViewModel":{"contentImage":{"collectionThumbnailViewModel":{"primaryThumbnail":{"thumbnailViewModel":{"image":{"sources":[{"url":"https://i.ytimg.com/vi/pi8xRvMeRLU/hqdefault.jpg?sqp=-oaymwEWCKgBEF5IWvKriqkDCQgBFQAAiEIYAQ== rs=AOn4CLDq9HKUdTd3gmN6aE2HDUBKYMOHEA","width":168,"height":94},{"url":"https://i.ytimg.com/vi/pi8xRvMeRLU/hqdefault.jpg?sqp=-oaymwEXCNACELwBSFryq4qpAwkIARUAAIhCGAE= rs=AOn4CLDMXpSGYsvWtAj7sDdw69K_Ema95w","width":336,"height":188}]},"overlays":[{"thumbnailOverlayBadgeViewModel":{"thumbnailBadges":[{"thumbnailBadgeViewModel":{"icon":{"sources":[{"clientResource":{"imageName":"PLAYLISTS"}}]},"text":"23 videos","badgeStyle":"THUMBNAIL_OVERLAY_BADGE_STYLE_DEFAULT","backgroundColor":{"lightTheme":3355443,"darkTheme":3355443}}}],"position":"THUMBNAIL_OVERLAY_BADGE_POSITION_BOTTOM_END"}},{"thumbnailHoverOverlayViewModel":{"icon":{"sources":[{"clientResource":{"imageName":"PLAY_ALL"}}]},"text":{"content":"Play all","styleRuns":[{"startIndex":0,"length":8}]},"style":"THUMBNAIL_HOVER_OVERLAY_STYLE_COVER"}}],"backgroundColor":{"lightTheme":3750201,"darkTheme":3750201}}},"stackColor":{"lightTheme":10066329,"darkTheme":9211020}}},"metadata":{"lockupMetadataViewModel":{"title":{"content":"Cecile Chaminade"},"metadata":{"contentMetadataViewModel":{"metadataRows":[{"metadataParts":[{"text":{"content":"Gamma1734
