FMU’s Freshwater Ecology Center opened in January 2022 and includes two buildings: the John G. Rae, III Freshwater Ecology Center, and an elegant conference center. • The John G. Rae, III Freshwater Ecology Center was created to respond to freshwater challenges in the Pee Dee Region of South Carolina and educate the next generation of natural resource professionals.
