In this video, we will give you a closer look at how online vigil works and tips to more fully experience prayer in this space. As you enter the vigil, know that you are joining thousands of others in prayer, as well as the Silent Unity associates who are praying right now in the Silent Unity Prayer Vigil Chapel. • Let's take a few moments to look around. First, when you enter, you can choose either English or Spanish. Next, make yourself familiar with the space. Here's what the homepage looks like on desktop. If you are accessing from a mobile device, the main buttons are here. You can also access all vigil information from the top left-hand hamburger menu. From the homepage, you can enter directly into prayer, or if you'd like tips for prayer before you begin. You can access these from the home screen to learn how to create sacred space and center yourself for prayer time. Now choose either to pray as a guest or login. • Before you enter into prayer, read and accept the prayer vigil guidelines. Click or tap the check box. Then click or tap “Start Praying.” If you choose “Login,” rather than “Pray as Guest,” you will only have to accept the prayer vigil guidelines once on your browser. For future sessions, you will not need to log in. • Once you click “Start Praying,” you are now in vigil with thousands of others around the world. Close your eyes and allow yourself to enter into sacred time of reflection. You are now upholding peace and healing for those who have asked for prayer. Once you have completed your prayer vigil time, we encourage you to close with a final reflection. Then click or tap “Amen.” If at any time you want to silence the meditation music, you can do that here. • You can learn more about the history of Silent Unity prayer vigil.
