The game comes with a carbonized bamboo game board, and 36 playing pieces: in red, blue, green and purple. There are three types of game pieces: a large circle, a smaller circle, and a peg. The instructions and game play are simple. Players take turns to get three in a row, all with the same color. And, you have options of how to get that three in a row: with three of the same size; three in ascending or descending order; or with all three shapes in one square. Ok, the last option isn't a traditional three-in-a-row, but who cares? This game is fun and offers a whole lot of strategic and competitive gameplay. I love games like this that instantly make sense and can be played within minutes after you open the box. I think children younger than 8 will enjoy it, and players of all ages will love Otrio, game after game. The carbonized bamboo board will not only look nice in your home, but it's good for our planet.
