#netosis #neutrophilextracellulartraps #immunothrombosis NETosis is a program for formation of neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs), which consist of modified chromatin decorated with bactericidal proteins from granules cytoplasm. NETosis plays an Important role in thromboinflammation. Immunothrombosis is the the complex network between the coagulation system the innate immune system. Thrombosis actually is a protective reaction against pathogens, facilitating their capture in a fibrin clot. Excessive NETosis has been suggested to play an important role in pathogenesis of many infectious (covid 19), inflammatory (atheroscleosis), autoimmune diseases (SLE).
